Background:

The Centre For Full Employment (CFFE) is a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation that offers a free, and unique service to local community residents, businesses and organisations in Sheffield.

CFFE aims to reduce unemployment in the city by improving opportunities for people from the most disadvantaged communities.

CFFE also aims to help organisations and businesses in the city to recruit to their hard to fill vacancies by supporting them with their recruitment needs.

Sheffield Jobnet is CFFE's most well-known service which is offered across the city.

Aims and Objectives:

  • To seek a society where everyone who wants to work can

  • To create and support the development of more suitable, quality employment opportunities

  • To increase employment and income levels in the most deprived communities, through the strengthening of internal economies

  • To facilitate the development of recruitment, and workforce development practices in city organisations and businesses through the Employer Liaison Team

  • To offer alternative recruitment options

  • To develop new and innovative labour market entry programmes

  • To help with hard to fill vacancies

CFFE undertake this challenge by linking in to the local labour market renewal strategy of Successful Neighbourhoods.
